As Barnett and Mozgawa rendezvoused with Cohen in Melbourne in May 2021 to shape the film's score, they created music that avoids being too instructive or obvious, allowing listeners to interpret and feel as they will. Barnett discovered that she enjoyed immersing herself in this musical landscape, finding a connection with its reflective and introspective nature.
