Recorded at Château d’Hérouville in France, where Bowie would later return to create the masterpiece "LOW," "Pin Ups" is a remarkable collection of cover songs paying homage to the bands and artists who inspired Bowie during his formative years. These were the acts he witnessed at iconic clubs like The Marquee in London during the mid to late '60s. The album features Bowie's unique interpretations of songs originally performed by legendary acts such as The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Who, Pretty Things, The Easybeats, and more.
